10 years since The Force Awakens dropped... was it original? Nope. It was basically A New Hope with a fresh coat of paint. But it worked. Rey, Finn, Poe, Kylo... they all felt like characters u actually wanted to follow
The real tragedy is what came after. This movie set up a promising new trilogy that somehow became quickly forgettable. Two films later and I genuinely struggle to remember what happened in them... I only remember the cringey parts lol
but this one? This one was solid... yeah, still had a ton of flaws but solid. Sometimes a simple reboot is all u need
