Yesterday, in the dead of night, Senate and Assembly Democrats walked over $100M of additional spending into legislative committee agendas and approved it without giving the public a chance to see what was in the bill or even how much it totaled.
Weird. So many NJ politicians protested commuters getting squeezed by NYC congestion pricing but I haven't seen any raising concerns about the major PATH fare hike.
Legislation to make daylight savings time permanent in NJ is scheduled to be considered by the Senate Transportation Committee today. FWIW, this bill also advanced in committee in 2022, then stalled. But now it's sponsored in part by the senate president.
