Big ❗Buddy ❗Baby ❗ News ❗ Her hatchlings are here! After nesting on Soropta Beach, Panama on May 22, Buddy’s eggs were carefully moved into @conserveturtles's protected hatchery and monitored 24/7 to keep them safe from poachers. After incubating in the warm sand for around two months, little turtle heads started poking out, indicating the nest was hatching 🐢🐢🐢 Shortly after, 45 little leatherbacks made their way to the Caribbean Sea. Hopefully we see them back on this very beach when they are grown up and ready to nest in 20 years ❗
