a lot of insights on how dark pools work on solana with @bqbrady. it also touches on how Jupiter helps to form a new market structure on Solana. here, i want to touch on a few things on what we Jupiter do to make sure that these dark pools are safe: - i have met all these dark pools operators IRL face to face. yes, they are all reputable players in the market. we make sure that they won't rug. - without revealing too much on the mechanism (prevent others from gaming it) on how we prevent rugs from these dark pools, we have many tests in place to make sure that they are not gaming our routing engines. yes, we have caught a few cases in the past that this happened. all of these were not intentionally, mostly because of code logic error. - we also make sure that we share a reputable auditor on both sides to make sure that these dark pools are not doing any funky. (many things can be done if you can inspect the transaction for example) again, we are not trying to be the blocker here when it comes to a new integration, we are here to make sure that our users are safe.
