I personally don't see a problem with not-our-bags corpo chains. Even if they don't build on our existing chains, them being ~1 hop away from my tokens, making it easier to turn my Internet money to IRL goods is still bueno. Think about the number of hops it'd take to get from monkey jpeg to Google Play credits right now. 8? 12? If I can use a bridge and instantly have GoogleUSD to buy the latest mobile game I'm down, because some will undoubtedly flow back the other way and grow the pie.
