That's wild. Based on CSRanking, a "metrics-based ranking of top computer science institutions based on faculty publications at selective conferences," the top 14 in AI for 2025 are all Chinese universities / institutions. Tsinghua doesn't even crack the top 10. PKU is #7. Even when I make the time period longer to the last decade (2016-2026), Nanjing is still #1. (But PKU and Tsinghua do become #2 and 3 respectively.) American universities dominate if you select All Areas though.

Wow, I didn’t realize creator Classmate He (the English translation of his Chinese screen name) has 1.7 million followers on YouTube now. He’s an excellent showman, often nicknamed “Young Steve Jobs,” and has even interviewed Tim Cook. That said, as others have pointed out, he’s not considered “hardcore” enough. A peer of his from the same generation, who also started out making tech videos, is now the founder of the robotics unicorn AgiBot. By contrast, Classmate He hasn’t strayed from the entertainment business. Still, it’s damn high–production–value entertainment.
