It looks like over 1% of the Hungarian population now consists of migrant laborers from Asia and Africa. Hungary is supposedly the most "based" country in Eastern Europe. 1% sounds low, but 1% is how it starts, and if you allow 1%, then why not 10% when you need even more labor?

Sharp increase of Asians living in Hungary since 2022.
Western-style mass immigration definitely has some weird ideological or political component to it. So far Eastern-style mass immigration appears to be purely reactively economic, as a belated response to total demographic collapse.

We definitely do not talk enough about the insane depopulation of Eastern Europe since 1990. Wars, aging, and emigration. In 1990, Ukraine & Turkey were even. Turkey is now double Ukraine's pop. For many countries this depopulation literally surpasses the death tolls of WWII.
But the Eastern European Boomers who are demanding migrant workers to suppress wages and keep their unprofitable businesses solvent are not going to suddenly stop demanding more cheap labor, because the demographic crunch will only continue. So where does it end? (It doesn't.)
