I used to run a paid group when I was at btc2w, and quite a few people joined, and the quality was pretty good. Later, I had to shut it down because I got pregnant. Now, in this market, there probably aren't many people who are genuinely willing to run a group. First, those who have the ability to do it have basically made their money, and sharing is just too exhausting and can easily lead to criticism; it's basically not a positive expected value situation. Another issue is the severe market fragmentation; sometimes I feel like looking at stocks more, sometimes I want to focus on mainstream coins, and other times I have to dabble in on-chain activities. But in many aspects, I haven't reached a level where I can share insights with others, so the invisible pressure builds up. Cherish those who are willing to run groups. If it's someone you trust, they generally won't stick around if they make money too quickly... After all, being a student is much easier than being a teacher, and the fee for one person's group isn't even enough to cover a single transaction fee.
